A portrait of a woman without eggs

A woman going through menopause walks a catwalk again and again. Between a world that is closing and another that has not yet opened, her body becomes the stage: a place where memories, expectations and silences coexist with the impulse to shed old layers and reinvent herself.

The journey is unfamiliar, without a compass.

Sometimes it burns, dries or irritates;

at other times it opens new spaces for breathing and pleasure.

(h)ovo, A portrait of a woman without eggs is a documentary-based theatre creation that moves naturally between moments of introspection and humour, transforming profound themes into a fresh, intimate and life-affirming experience. Through a direct theatrical language and an ongoing dialogue with the audience, the performance dissolves the boundary between performer and spectators, inviting them into a shared space of reflection, connection and laughter around a stage of life that remains too often invisible.
