Community art
We develop community-based performing arts projects that connect art, health and community to bring visibility to menopause and the menopausal transition.
Through collective creative processes,
the experiences of women and people who menstruate
are transformed into an artistic work that generates new narratives,
Fostering dialogue between communities and healthcare professionals,
and helping to build a more diverse, dignified and community-centred understanding of this stage of life.
We use artistic and performance language to talk about this menopause, with the desire to:
Contribute to establishing the sexual rights of women and people who menstruate.
Collect and
provide precise
information on the changes that
bodies
experience, on a
physical, mental
and emotional
level, during this
vital process.
Create community spaces where we can break some myths and look care tools for the climacteric
period.
Create collective knowledge about menopause and open the dialogue about female
cycles to a
community
dimension.
